Sampling of solid bulk materials

Sampling of solid bulk materials, such as waste, biomass, etc., has a decisive influence on the quality of the analysis results. To reliably and representatively determine characteristic properties of the materials, pragmatic, material-specific approaches often have to be found, taking all boundary conditions into account. We offer sampling procedures that, in accordance with the requirements of the relevant standards and guidelines, are based on the basic quantity, consistency, heterogeneity, and particle and piece size distribution. We develop sampling strategies taking into account legal frameworks and requirements. In doing so, we ensure representativeness both for individual solid components and for bulk materials with high heterogeneity and inhomogeneity.
